Game of Thrones Season 2 Quick Thoughts

Just finished S2 of Game of Thrones. I enjoyed it. Even though it took me 3 episodes to actually start enjoy it!

Strong points was the "little" mans relationship with the whore. (Hey, listen...I can't follow this fucking show, with its millions of characters and their fucking Shakespeare language! This is why I don't know their names and why it takes me a few episodes to get in it.)

Back to the relationship, first moment that made me tear up was when the Dinklage was on his knees professing his love to the whore. That vulnerability, which hasn't been shown before, was just amazing! Especially after the fact that the queen-bitch had appeared to have found out and tortured Dinklage's whore.

2nd moment that made me tear up was again the same relationship, when Dinklage broke down after his woman (Ill stop 'whore' until I find out her name.) stuck by him. Everything from the unmasking of his wound, amazingly disgusting!, and her reminding him of the promises he made to her, "You have a shit memory! You belong to me.". Or along those lines. Great scene!

3rd moment, when the two young Winterfeld boys met up with the grey robe, mentor old-man. That was touching, more so of my thoughts of the boys watching someone who has looked over them their whole lives bleeding to death, And having to leave him to die. I would have loved to see the younger brother freaking out more, even the older one. Anyway, the scene was apt.

GoT, I don't see why people are going crazy for it. Amazing casting, near faultless acting, sexy Khaleesi (the only character name I know, HaHa!) and great production value, but there's something that doesn't make want to really find out what happens in the next episode. Unlike 'Breaking Bad', 'The Wire' or even 'Homeland' I'm not depressed that I have to wait for the next episode.

About to start season 3. People are going super duper insane for this season. Will see!
